Determining the status and problems of modern investment in agricultural enterprises, as well as ways to improve their financial security. The article deals with the essence of investments and their varieties. The dynamics of the securities portfolio of domestic banks and investments in agriculture. According to a study submitted proposals to increase investment banking businesses in the agricultural sector, which is necessary to create such conditions are not included in the calculation of the volume of investment regulations investment banking provided by agribusiness companies; availability of specialized banks, which will focus its resources on the development of agricultural enterprises; give banks the opportunity to issue special investment certificates, which received funds will be channeled exclusively on investing in the development of agricultural enterprises; for the above to create an appropriate legal framework. Визначено стан та сучасні проблеми інвестування в підприємства агропромислового комплексу, а також шляхи поліпшення їх фінансового забезпечення. Розглядається сутність інвестицій та їх види. Досліджується динаміка портфеля цінних паперів вітчизняних банків та обсяги інвестицій в АПК. За результатами дослідження подаються пропозиції щодо збільшення обсягу банківських інвестицій в підприємства аграрного сектору, для чого необхідно створити такі умови: не враховувати до розрахунку нормативів інвестування обсяги банківських інвестицій, наданих підприємствам АПК; забезпечити наявність спеціалізованих банків, що будуть спрямовувати свої ресурси на розвиток підприємств аграрного сектору; надати банкам можливість випускати спеціальні інвестиційні сертифікати, за якими отримані грошові кошти спрямовуватимуться виключно на інвестування в розвиток підприємств АПК; для зазначеного створити відповідну законодавчу базу.
