Abstract

Due to the need of unification of the information supply of the systemof public finance functioning in Ukraine and bringingitinto compliance with International accounting standards for the public sector, the modernization of accounting in the publicsector is being performed.The article is devoted to analysis of directionsand objectives identified in the Strategy for modernizing accounting system inthe public sector of Ukraine, and the state of its implementationat the present stage В связи с необходимостью унификации информационного обеспечения функционирования системы государственных финансов в Украине и приведение их в соответствие с Международными стандартами учета для государственного сектора осуществляется модернизация бухгалтерскогоучета в государственном секторе.
