Control mechanisms, which are applied for evaluating European funds usage in agriculture in Poland

Abstract

After Poland entered the European Union, Polish agrarian producers have got a possibility to receive financial resources by implementing aid programs. Agrarian producers fill in application forms for receiving aid, which are estimated from economic and technical view. Thanks to this check the aid is given to those who submit application forms and meet requirements determined by the program. After receiving the aid, companies become a subject of control with the help of which money misusage granted by the European Union is detected. The article includes short characteristics of main support programs, the attention is paid to mistakes as well as suggestions of limiting the number of mistakes done.
