Abstract

The present paper aims to achieve a comparative analysis of the North–East development region of Romania with the other regions from the perspective of some economic and tourist relevant indicators. The analysis is preceded by a short presentation of the regional development frame in which it will take place. For the study, we will use the statistical method of the variance analysis of some quantitative numeric variables, which in our case are the economic indicators from the tourism field, under the influence of a qualitative variable (the region), that allows the sharing of the population in categories. The analysis is made using the SPSS program, and during the study we will feature the conclusive aspects that occur.
