Abstract

This study investigates the role of digital leadership in enhancing organizational performance in Uganda’s public sector, with a focus on the mediating effect of digital transformation. Using a cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from 590 public sector employees and analyzed using SPSS Process Macro. Results reveal that digital transformation significantly mediates the relationship between digital leadership and organizational performance. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening digital leadership and transformation initiatives to drive performance improvements in public institutions.
