The CRITIC-AHP performance degradation staged fusion evaluation of wet clutch friction components

Abstract

The performance of wet clutches plays a crucial role in the efficiency and durability of mechanical transmission systems. As a vital component of the clutch, the degradation of friction components directly affects its stability and reliability. To investigate the performance degradation of friction components, we establish a multi-indicator evaluation system and conduct an accelerated life test, which is validated by an accelerated model. Next, we build a Random Forest model to classify the friction stage. Criteria Importance through Intercriteria Correlation (CRITIC) and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is proposed to assign weights for each degradation indicator during different stages. A Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) scoring method combines indicator weights to construct a CRITIC-AHP staged fusion evaluation model of friction components. Notably, the average relative error of the evaluation results of the model is 9.35%.
