Abstract

For a long time, research in entrepreneurship remained centred around individual personalities. With the emergence of large corporations, con tributing to the growth of wealth and employment, interest in the or ganisational characteristics linked with high growth has increased, resulting in a diversity of approaches; many of which are in conflict with each other. This paper summarises the body of literature on entrepreneur ial processes within existing organisations, concentrating on policies and practices which encourage creativity and innovation in a corporate con text.
