Abstract

In this paper the author will try to answer the following questions: What kind of roles and meanings do the European common educational policies and European citizenship have for the European Integration and inter-cultural education and training programmes? What is the concrete background of the emergence of the European common educational policies in relation to inter-cultural understanding? Within this perspective, how can we evaluate the present situations and the prospects for the future? For the answer the author will analyze Erasums, Lingua, Petra, Comenious programmes.
