The Relationship Between Type I and Type II Income Multipliers in an Input-Output Model

Abstract

The constant that relates the Type I and Type II income multipliers in an input-output model is proven to be exactly the consump tion multiplier for the household sector, and additional multiplier rela tionships between the open and closed models are derived.
