Author

Listed:
  • Tan Chung

Abstract

We regret that we could not publish earlier than this, as announced, Dr. Tan Chung's review article on the 'Boxer Movement' in the series 'Nineteenth-Century China Revisited'. This will now be published in the March-April 1980 issue. Meanwhile, we publish below another article by him on the Taiping Movement as a sequel to his earlier review article on the same topic in the May-June 1978 issue. —EDITOR
