Abstract

Diversity climate, due to its impending impact on inclusion efforts, has been researched to understand its varied dimensions. Both from an academic standpoint, as well as an organizational perspective, researchers must coalesce to understand diversity in the Indian context, considering the social and economic angles that present themselves both as a challenge and an opportunity. The present research attempts to collate various investigative endeavors where key variables such as task conflict, relationship conflict, organizational commitment, innovation culture, psychological empowerment, identity freedom, diversity perception, demographic insights, leadership, fairness and discrimination, cultural intelligence, team performance, workplace attachment, employee performance, business unit financial performance, affective organizational commitment, job satisfaction, role ambiguity, and linguistic parameters, with the common dependent variable being diversity climate. The present research attempts to demonstrate various aspects related to diversity climate that can be advanced further within the Indian context for customized results.
