The Matchmaking business is flourishing as the closeness and knowing each other of the citizen in megacities are becoming impossible. This study is to find out the factors of making such decisions by men and women of university students and the significance of such factors in such decision making. The research is done on the students of private and public universities and their guardians by random sampling method. Data were collected by bounded and unbounded questions of a pre-planned questionnaire-that was distributed among 350 students but the reply is less than 310. The data were processed and presented by SPSS 19. It is found that in some variables, like definition and characteristics of bride and bridegrooms, occupation and profession of groom, appearance, is quite similar but in some cases like age, age difference, Income, family structure and others, it is different.
