K památce dvou výrazných osobností JihoÄ eského regionu

Abstract

V letoÅ¡ním roce si můžeme pÅ™ipomenout dvÄ› kulatá výroÄ Ã­ osobností naÅ¡eho kraje, které se sice v Ä asech svých životů téměř nemohly setkat (starší z obou mužů zemÅ™el v dobÄ›, kdy mladšímu byly teprve tÅ™i roky), ale které pÅ™esto spojuje víc, než by se na první pohled zdálo. Jedná se o podnikatele a technika Franze Hardtmutha (1832 – 1896), od jehož narození letos uplulo sto osmdesát let, a stavaÅ™e a architekta Karla Chocholu (1893 – 1942), zabitého nacisty v období tzv. heydrichiády pÅ™ed sedmdesáti lety. PÅ™ipomínat si úspěšné životy pÅ™edků nemusí být motivováno jen snahou nalézt v jejich postojích inspiraci a povzbuzení k vlastní životní odvaze. Smysl vzpomínání lze také vnímat v projevu vdÄ›Ä nosti za to, co z minulosti dostáváme a co Ä asto užíváme s lhostejnou suverenitou nevÄ›domosti.
