Abstract

The review of the book “The Maelstrom of Markets†written by Charles R. Morris aims to present careers and opinions of successful investors George Soros and Warren Buffett. On the other hand, there is another significant figure, Paul Volcker, regulator and the US government employee, whose entire career was accompanied by the crisis. Volcker was not a professional investor, who has achieved significant success in the field of macroeconomics, and in 70th years, he managed to dispose of “giant†inflation that plagued the American economy.
