Two geometric examples of „transitional“ areas in architecture

This article analyzes the relevant geometric properties of the two „transition“ (sheating) and rotationally asymmetric surfaces with the same horizontal ring at the base, one of which is developable linear, while the other is linear undevelopable with that „stage“(the upper horizontal base) of the first one is circle, while the „stage“ of the other is an ellipse, the vertical distance between the bases is the same. Both considered „transitional“ areas are specifically defined to mean that only the (infinite) forming lines will always be vertical.
