Abstract

Use management as applied science in sports, creates opportunities for rationalization and systematization of sports activity, based on knowledge and applicability of laws and principles that control the dynamics of phenomena. Inefficient management of Romanian sport has led to a slow adaptation to new socio-economic conditions in sport requires new guidelines. The transition period requires a cultural change in the wider professional communities, based on a system of values in the application of methods, techniques and management tools to increase efficiency at the organizational level. In Romania, the development of managerial capacity is necessary for themselves, both among managers and among non-managers as a major socio-cultural problem that requires concerted action.
