Abstract

For large urban agglomerations, identifying a heating system that is both environmentally and efficiently represents a challenge. Centralized thermal energy supply systems (SACET) represent a convenient alternative solution to individual heating systems because it is less polluting, leading to the improvement of the quality of life. Also, SACET has proved to be one of the most efficient heating solutions in the conditions of an increasingly rapid increase in energy prices. SACET is a system composed of: the production plant; thermal energy transmission network; thermal points / modules; thermal energy distribution network. The transformation of a public service of general interest, namely the provision of heating for the population, into a profitable business, which no longer depends on the subsidies granted by the state is a reality that is increasingly confronted by more and more local authorities.
