Abstract

In the age of globalized economy, the importance of external environmental turbulence has increased significantly because of the increasing volatility and unpredictability of the environment, resulted by the development of communication technology, informatics and means of transport, but also social and economic ties between states and between organizations. Even if management companies suffered a major development over the past 20 years, it mainly focused on maximizing profits, innovation and creativity, the development of flexible production systems, storage and effective marketing, while was neglecting the development of methods and techniques of resistance to any major shocks or volatility of the external environment.
