Abstract

The article considers the problem of correlating philosophic practice with the position of a modern person, with his worldview and self-determination in the world around us. Correlating academic discourse of philosophy with the “lifeworld” and filling the “lifeworld” with philosophizing is the vital task of modern times which presupposes interdependent activity. From the viewpoint of “philosophic practice” there are not only differences but also great similarity and succession between cultural and historical traditions of philosophizing and between historical types of existentialism.
