Abstract

Introduction. The level of terrorist threats emanating from Ukrainian special services and international terrorist organizations has significantly increased in the Russian Federation against the background of a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. One of the threat-forming factors is attempts to involve young people from among foreign citizens in terrorist acts, which can be greatly facilitated by differences in spiritual and moral orientations with the Russian population. In this regard, the spiritual and moral education of young people, including those from among foreign students, is one of the main ideological tasks of the Russian state. Purpose. Identification of the most effective forms and methods of preventive work that reduce the degree of vulnerability and exposure to the ideology of terrorism and extremism among foreign students studying in educational institutions of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. Methods. In his research, the author relies on the actor's approach, the theory of communicative action by Yu. Habermas. Comparative and content analysis methods are used. Results and conclusions. Only a practice-oriented approach that takes into account the mentality of foreign students and the level of their spiritual and moral development is the key to their successful integration into the national cultural and socio-political space of the Russian Federation, develops a tolerant attitude and respect for national cultural traditions, promotes compliance with the norms and rules of conduct in force in the host country. One of the proven and proven forms of detecting the penetration of the ideology of terrorism into the youth environment is socio-psychological research on the methodology of diagnosing the propensity for aggression and deviant behavior of foreign students. This work allows, at the level of an educational organization, to form risk groups of foreign students who require increased psychological and pedagogical attention with preventive measures, individual consultations, and the involvement of these students in various additional educational services, which contributes to the early prevention of illegal actions.
