Abstract

The article discusses various modern scientific approaches to the study of terrorist threats and the development of anti-terrorist tools. The study revealed that they all place research accents in different ways and there is no comprehensive approach to the analysis of this socially dangerous political phenomenon. One of the new interdisciplinary research areas may be terrorism, which comprehensively and comprehen-sively studies and identifies terrorist threats. The authors conclude that the development of programs to combat terrorism should be preceded by a comprehensive analysis of the problem using the scientific tools of a new scientific field – terrorism.
