Abstract

Today, the issue of risks is given great importance, which is associated with an increase in their role due to the processes of globalization. Their main feature is that they penetrate into completely different spheres of public life, creating total uncertainty. In addition, they are different from the dangers of pre-industrial society, which were local in nature and did not pose such threats to humanity. In connection with the global spread of modern risks, the directions of their research are constantly expanding, and the methodological apparatus is being improved. Their analysis occupies an important part in the decision- making process, including in political activity.
