Abstract

The article is based on the results of sociological research by the method of questioning and interviews. The study examines the inheritance practices of a family business in the domestic environment, highlights the positive and negative factors that are taken into account by the heirs when deciding whether to receive family assets for management. We come to the conclusion that the practice of business inheritance in the Russian Federation is in its infancy, which is caused by the relative novelty of the phenomenon of entrepreneurship, which began to spread widely in the country in the 1990s after the collapse of the USSR.
