Abstract

Improving the efficiency of public administration in the digital economy has its own specificity, strategies and approaches in this context are based primarily on the quality of the acquisition, pro-cessing of interpretation data and the application of conclusions for the continuous improvement of management processes. At the same time, digital technologies themselves and their use are not an end in them-selves and do not guarantee improvement in performance. Only if they are integrated organically into the rel-evant management system, on the basis of the relevant organizational measures, do these tools become a factor of efficiency. Due to the significant role of external conditions in providing opportunities for the digital transformation of institutional units, the activities of state authorities, which form the socio-economic, legal, scientific and technological foundation for proactive and reactive digitalization, are of particular importance.
