Abstract

The article examines the role of scientific schools in the formation of scientific knowledge and highlights their various forms and directions. The emphasis is placed on regional political science scientific schools and on the example of the Rostov Scientific Elitological School, the features of regional political and elitological studies are highlighted. It is noted that the Rostov School of Elitology under the leader-ship of Professor A.V. Ponedelkov, which made a significant contribution to the development of elitology and regional political science, was formed at the RANEPA Elitological School.
