Abstract

The article considers the problems of modernization of the political system of Russia, determines the genesis of the concept of the political system of society, reveals the relationship between the processes of political modernization and the modernization of the political system of Russian society, exam-ines the models of political modernization: linear, partial and multilinear. In the course of the conducted research, it is concluded that it is necessary to abandon the liberal linear model and use a multilinear one, as the most suitable for Russian political modernization.
