Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of the problems of the Western socio-political order in the works of the Russian thinker of the XX century A. A. Zinoviev. This topic is relevant in connection with the understanding of the specifics of civilizational types, the characteristics of the typological fea-tures of the West. The analysis of the characteristic features that reflect the specifics of the West, its founda-tions: business and communal aspects. It is emphasized that the ideas of A. A. Zinoviev can be considered in many ways prophetic about the fate of the West in the 21st century. The author notes that modern Western European civilization, as a unique sociobiological formation created by specific peoples, today faces the problem of the disintegration of its own identity.
