Abstract

The two-sector model of a mixed economy is a methodological tool for studying the dual nature of any socio-economic structural organization, both at the macro level and in the sectoral and spheral aspects. This article analyzes the sphere of education in the methodological coordinates of a two-sector model of a mixed economy, which makes it possible to expand the understanding of both the economic characteristics of the education system and its social nature. In the coordinates of the two-sector model, the economy of education appears as a conceptual ecosystem that realizes both the economic and social interests of society.
