Abstract

The article reveals the role of foresight (strategic foresight) as an advanced technology of modern public administration. The modern world is dynamic and is in the process of endless changes that in one way or another affect social relations and the activities of the state apparatus. Today's state strategic foresight has evolved from the practice of informing strategic national security advisers to helping civil servants to comprehend the most important future challenges, characterized by uncertainty and longer time horizons. The low prevalence of foresight as a social technology is due to the fact that politicians and specialists in the field of public administration were unable to effectively and effectively use foresight for the prospective building of strategies for the future.
