Abstract

The article analyzes the composition, development trends and dynamics of factors that determine the attractiveness of using e-commerce as a method of entering a new market in the post-pandemic period the United States’ market. These include: the volume of online and total sales of goods, the revenue of American marketplaces, personal and real disposable income, spending on personal consumption of goods and services, and the consumer confidence index. The conclusion is made that the attractiveness of e-commerce market for business is preserved in comparison with traditional sales. A trend has been revealed for a slowdown in the growth rate of e-commerce, which is characteristic of both the US and Russian markets.
