Abstract

This article discusses the need to improve the health of enterprises in single-industry towns, as well as their cost-effective functioning based on the intensification of production. It is the intensification of industrial production that can increase the number of products produced, use available resources more economically by introducing innovations, improving the equipment and technologies used, as well as increase labor productivity, increase the attractiveness of the territory for investors, which will have a positive impact on the socioeconomic development of the region.
