Abstract

The main resource of universities is their teaching staff. Optimally using it to achieve strategic goals, ensure high employee interest in improving the efficiency of their work, which ultimately will increase the demand for graduates from the labour market. Therefore, the study of problems in the field of motivation of the teaching staff of universities, development of areas of improvement is one of the main objectives, the achievement of which will ensure the growth of competitiveness of Russian universities and their entering the international market, the training of highly skilled specialists. Despite the wide variety of work in the field of staff motivation, there is no unified approach to the organization of this process in higher education institutions.
