Abstract

The article reveals the content of health-saving behavior from the perspective of sociological science, characterized by a system of actions aimed at preserving and improving health. The study of the problems of social conditionality of health in the context of various sociological trends allowed us to identify such structural ele-ments of health-preserving behavior as the social environment, the subject, goals, means and results. The paper defines the role of social factors in the development of an individual's behavioral attitudes towards health. The goal of health-saving behavior is to achieve the preservation and improvement of the state that allows normal functioning in society.
