Abstract

In article the main characteristics, functions of mass media, Internet environments presented by various authors, group of authors and research schools are considered. Various processes and regularities influencing marginalization of youth in modern Russia come to light. Influence of mass media on marginalization of youth as the modern period of development of Russian society is considered. Results of an author's sociological research are generalized.
