Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of current problems associated with the consideration of modern features and characteristics of the state diaspora policy of the Russian Federation. Special attention is paid to the implementation of the policy of support for diasporas within the country and abroad. Methods and tools for the protection of the Russian ethnos in the context of political and power pressure through foreign diasporas on Russia are also considered. Special emphasis is placed on political and economic assistance to diasporas abroad, which allows them to actively lobby for national interests. Also considered are tools to support the Russian language in the countries of residence of the national diaspora and the intensification of the actions of the Russian government towards simplifying the acquisition of Russian citizenship.
