Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the specificity of institutionalization of service women in the modern Russian army. This problem is examined through such a category as "military professional status of female soldiers", which is determined by the following aspects: male-considered professional environment; socio-legal provision and staffing of military professional activity of women; reflection of woman’s image as a military professional in the modern society; awareness of service women themselves in the profession as a subject of military activity. The result of the work was the identification of the specificity of institutionalization of service women in the modern Russian army, which is determined by a number of contradictions that reveal the "peak" and the prospects of their professional career.
