Abstract

From the initial stage of the organization's life cycle, that is, after its inception, there is a large number of elements around and inside it that influence on doing business. This structure includes many processes, various functions and factors, conditions and limitations that the company faces every day. The totality of these components is called organization's environment and its analysis (both retrospective and prospective) is an essential element of strategic management system. The key factors of business environment of modern organization are systematized and the main methods of their analysis are considered in the article, which allow not only assessing the current market positions adequately and identifying possible directions not only to improve the company competitiveness, but also to develop development strategy of a particular enterprise.
