Abstract

In the current economic and political situation, which is reflected in all spheres of life, the peculiarities of the BANI era, the high level of digitalization, Big Data and the trends of ecosystem business coalitions, the most urgent issue is the preservation of the sustainable position of enterprises affected by the indicated trends. The information and infrastructure mechanisms accompanying the acts of self-development of the enterprise are able to respond to these challenges of the time and cope with a large amount of information, helping them to pass certain stages in relation to the initiation and management of self-development processes. The research highlights the maturity levels of the proposed original information and infrastructure mechanism (IIM) for self-development management, which help the enterprise to pass the stages of self-determination: self-configuration, self-initiation and self-transformation. However, we face a number of difficulties, namely: understanding the essence of the maturity of IIM, competent differentiation of these levels and their criteria, their competent layout, taking into account the peculiarities of the functioning of enterprises at the present stage. These problems can be solved by an ecosystem approach, in which we occupy a higher level of reflection in relation to the mechanism and the enterprise itself. In order to understand the role of the ecosystem approach, the authors set the following tasks: to analyze the theoretical foundations of the ecosystem approach, which will set the vector of characteristics of maturity levels; to identify key characteristics and distribute them by maturity levels; to conduct an empirical study; to highlight the advantages of this approach and its further development prospects. Based on the selected criteria and levels, an empirical research tool was formed and a survey of employees of one of the enterprises was conducted. The obtained research results allowed the company to diagnose the level of maturity in relation to the self-developing structure, to analyze the state of the system according to all criteria of the level, and to form a vision for strategic steps in the future to enter ecosystem interaction and to make competent management decisions. Further studies of the practice of applying maturity assessment and management methods in the context of ecosystem management will allow enterprises to see their transition by levels, analyzing the characteristics of the system from the origin of self-organization manifestations to the self-developing structure, which inherently reflects the ecosystem understanding. Thus, enterprises can quickly and accurately make management decisions in accordance with the requirements of modern economic development and ecosystem trends.
