Abstract
In modern conditions, the relevance of creating conditions for revealing the potential of young people and developing their talents is increasing. Self-realization of young people is considered a key element of successful development of the country, requiring special attention and support from the state and society. In addition, self-realization of young people, being an important element of general satisfaction with social life, contributes to the formation of human capital of the territory. And as a result of the implementation of life strategies, self-realization can be attributed to the indicators of quality of life of a young person. The purpose of the article is to consider the issues of self-realization of young people from the standpoint of life strategies, opportunities and support from socialization institutions. Research methods. The article presents the results of monitoring the social strategies of young people (2024, N=5847), conducted in the Belgorod region. The research data demonstrate wave dynamics in the indicators of self-realization dispositions of young people, which may be due to a change of generations in research, as well as the emphases of national policies that affect socialization conditions. Results. The priority of the spheres of self-realization is revealed - selfrealization in the family and profession is recorded in the first place. The risks associated with the identified reproduction of inequality in matters of self-realization for socially vulnerable groups of young people, especially for young people with low levels of economic income, are outlined. Discussion. Providing conditions for self-realization of young people reflects the desire to form an active and competent generation capable of making a significant contribution to the future of Russia. In this regard, it becomes important to monitor the self-realization dispositions and life plans of young people, to form a forecast of the possible transformation of their values and the likelihood of implementing the tasks of national projects and programs. The implementation of national development goals is directly related to the creation of a favorable environment for the personal and professional growth of young people. Therefore, in the process of implementing state youth policy, a new model of social mobility should be created, as well as effective social elevators should be proposed and ensured.
