Digitalization Of Social Activity Of The Population In Virtual Space: Sociological Analysis[Диджитализация Социальной Активности Населения В Виртуальном Пространстве: Социологический Анализ]

This article is devoted to the results of the sociological analysis of the digitalization of social activity of the population in virtual space, which is considered within the framework of the transformation of society under the influence of information technology. The purpose of the article is, based on sociological analysis, to identify the features of the digitalization of social activity of the population in the virtual space. The theoretical basis of the work was formed by sociological conceptual approaches to the study of digitalization of social space. The empirical basis of the work was the results of the sociological survey of residents of Orel, conducted by questionnaire on the stated issues. Based on the results of the study, factors of demand and purposes for using digital technologies were identified. It is established that the digitalization process has an uneven impact on different spheres of public life and this process itself is perceived differently by social groups. It is summarized that young people are a group whose activity is experiencing a serious transformation under the influence of an increasingly digitalized society. The positive perception of these changes suggests that digital technologies will continue to be in great demand and expand their presence in everyday life.
