Abstract

The main purpose of the article is to analyze the development of network discourse and factors influencing changes in social mentality. The thesis is substantiated that in modern network reality, defined as a multidimensional and polycentric space of communicative interaction, there is a transition to a qualitatively different stage of socio-political development - from rigid normative role mechanisms for regulating relationships to flexible discursive and semantic ones. Network discourse processes change the cognitive context, and subsequently the ontological one - now it is not just “being” that determines “consciousness,” but also the quality of “being” is determined by the level of maturity of social consciousness. The issues of network identification and the formation of a network culture of relationships, based on the formation of a network logic of axiological choice, displacing the logic of dictate and force pressure, are considered. The methodology of discourse analysis of the online blogosphere is used to identify mental shifts in mass consciousness. Conclusion - the formation of a network culture and overcoming the incompatibility of ideological matrices and discourse conflicts at an early stage is possible not by developing mechanisms of total control, prohibitions and restrictions, but only under the condition of gradual alignment of styles and ways of life and the subsequent transition of public consciousness to a new evolutionary level, at which it becomes fundamentally possible to achieve social consensus.
