Abstract

Primarily aimed at antitrust practitioners, this book is also invaluable to academics, but most of all to the competent authorities responsible for enforcing competition rules within the European Union. The book is well-documented from a scientific perspective, featuring an extensive critical apparatus (with 2,445 footnotes) and includes references to a wide range of older and newer works, from simple essays to outstanding doctoral theses, such as the PhD thesis of Romanian scholar Cristina Teleki: Due process and fair trial in EU Competition Law. The impact of Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights (prepared at the University of Bern between 2009 and 2020 and published in the “Nijhoff Studies in European Union Law” collection, vol. 18, Leiden: Brill-Nijhoff, 17.5.2021, xi+380pp.). * This text represents the opinion of the reviewer and is not opposable to the Competition Council
