Propuesta de alternativas de financiamiento en la Cuenca Jaguaní del Parque Nacional Alejandro de Humboldt

Abstract

La gestión en las áreas protegidas se caracteriza por un enfoque sectorial y desarticulado; carente de asignaciones de recursos que genera brechas financieras entre los fondos que se invierten en cada país, y el monto necesario para las labores de conservación. Consecuentemente, se proponen alternativas de financiamiento en sinergia con las comunidades, como contribución a la sostenibilidad financiera en la Cuenca Jaguaní del Parque Nacional Alejandro de Humboldt. Se emplean métodos de carácter teórico, empíricos y estadísticos matemáticos para la fundamentación teórica conceptual referente al desarrollo sostenible en áreas protegidas, la sostenibilidad financiera y el recurso hídrico. Asimismo, se aplican instrumentos para el levantamiento de información, la identificación de los principales servicios ecosistémicos que conforman la cuenca, las alternativas de financiamiento para la mejora de la gestión.
