A Indústria Catarinense Entre seu Passado Agro e o Futuro TEC: a integração local, nacional e global a partir da MIP 2018

Abstract

O objetivo do artigo é analisar o enraizamento de setores industriais com diferentes intensidades tecnológicas à economia local catarinense, analisando também suas interações com o consumo e a produção nacional e global, de forma a dar precisão a características essenciais ao desenvolvimento da atual estrutura produtiva. Para isso, fez-se uso da Matriz Insumo-Produto 2018. Entre os resultados discutidos à luz da literatura disponível, destaca-se o enraizamento local mais pronunciado em setores intensivos em recursos naturais do que nos novos setores intensivos em tecnologia. Entende-se uma estrutura produtiva fortemente assentada em seu passado agro, o que limita expectativas sobre um futuro guiado por setores intensivos em tecnologia.
