Migración de retorno y emprendimiento económico de ex migrantes en Loja, Ecuador

Abstract

En Ecuador, los flujos migratorios han estado presentes en mayor o menor cobertura, dadas las condiciones económicas del país, a pesar de ello, existen varios motivos por los cuales los migrantes deciden retornar al país de origen, bajo este contexto, el presente artículo tiene como objetivo identificar cómo la experiencia de los migrantes retornados en Loja interfiere en la creación de emprendimientos, para ello aplica una metodología con un enfoque de investigación mixto (cualitativo y cuantitativo) con instrumentos que recaban la percepción de los migrantes retornados. Los principales resultados indica que, si existe una influencia de la experiencia de los migrantes retornados en Loja para la creación de emprendimientos, a pesar de que el número de emprendedores es menor en toda la población de estudio, razón para que se recomiende la creación de políticas públicas que incentiven a la creación de negocios.
