Relación entre las exportaciones y gasto público sobre el crecimiento económico en Colombia periodo 1961-2015

Abstract

El propósito de esta investigación es examinar el efecto que tienen las exportaciones y el gasto público sobre el crecimiento económico en Colombia. Se usan datos de series de tiempo del World Development Indicators del periodo 1961-2015. Aplicamos un modelo de corrección de errores y de vectores autorregresivos. Los resultados señalan que existe una relación bidireccional entre las variables e indica que existe una relación de equilibrio en el corto y largo plazo. Una implicación de política apoyándonos en nuestros resultados, está encaminada a incrementar las exportaciones en los diferentes sectores productivos del país, tomando en cuenta que el gasto público debe estar correctamente direccionado.
