Abstract

This empirical study investigates the impact of China's producer services on economic growth from 1995 to 2021, using ridge regression analysis. The results demonstrate that China's producer service industry has a positive influence on economic growth. The ridge regression shows wholesale and retail trade have the most significant positive impact, followed by transportation/storage services. Overall, the study provides valuable insights into the importance of producer services for China's economic integration and growth.
