Abstract

En esta última década la investigación en economía laboral sobre el impacto de la tecnología en el nivel de empleo y en las características de los puestos de trabajo está viviendo un gran impulso, desde el intento de describir y comprender una realidad que avanza a un ritmo frenético. Cada vez es mayor el potencial transformador de las nuevas tecnologías, con la generalización del uso de robots en los procesos productivos para realizar tareas que hasta hace muy poco tiempo eran exclusivas de los seres humanos. A ello se suma la posibilidad que ofrecen las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones para deslocalizar tareas en cualquier parte del planeta, que están alterando los entornos laborales de millones de personas en todo el mundo.
