Abstract

El objetivo del trabajo es estudiar las diferencias regionales que permitan caracterizar grupos vulnerables. Con datos censales para localidades de la Provincia de Córdoba, en Argentina, y aplicando análisis de componentes principales y métodos de clasificación, se particiona a la población en tres clases de acuerdo a su calidad de vida. Las características de la dotación de recursos en infraestructura, aspectos demográficos y capacidades adquiridas determinan, predominantemente, los niveles de desarrollo humano en el territorio bajo estudio; no se observa partición perfecta del espacio geográfico y el método utilizado posibilita identificar los grupos de riesgo.
