Investigación: Eficiencia Productiva y Presión Competitiva: el Caso del Sector de la Construcción

Abstract

El efecto de la concentración de una industria sobre la eficiencia productiva de las empresas participantes, constituye un test empírico habitual en el campo de la microeconomía aplicada y de la organización industrial. Este trabajo está basado en la evidencia del sector de la construcción en la Provincia de Santa Fe, en el período 1993-2001, y se comprobó la hipótesis prevista por la teoría: dado el alto grado de competencia del sector y baja concentración de la industria, entonces la eficiencia media y mínima del sector son altas, y el desvío standard de los indicadores de eficiencia individuales es bajo.
